Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dark Conqueror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Jaa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dark Conqueror! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Tony Jaa! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conqueror takes a swing at Jaa's ribcage but misses. Conqueror throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Conqueror throws a looping overhand right but Jaa ducks down to avoid it. Jaa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jaa feints and as Conqueror raises his hands in defense, Jaa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jaa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jaa trying to control but Conqueror is working from the bottom. Jaa looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jaa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Conqueror's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaa trying to control the position from guard on top but Conqueror is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaa might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Conqueror haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jaa working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Conqueror avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jaa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Conqueror takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jaa slips under a jab from Conqueror. Conqueror gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. A jab from Jaa misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A jab lands there for Jaa. Jaa closes the distance and clinches. Jaa lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaa is trying to control the action in half guard but Conqueror is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jaa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jaa controlling the action here. Conqueror on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jaa passes to side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jaa tries to score with some ground and pound. Conqueror controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Jaa is trying to move to mount but Conqueror reverses beautifully and ends up in Jaa's guard. Jaa seems keen to control Conqueror's posture. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jaa can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conqueror stands and steps away. Jaa gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jaa rushes Conqueror and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jaa tightens his grip and picks Conqueror up, before dumping him to the ground. Conqueror manages to land in guard. Jaa pushing down on Conqueror's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Conqueror trying to control from the bottom.
Jaa misses with a head shot. Conqueror uses the momentum to regain guard. Jaa looking to sit in guard and control but Conqueror gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jaa seems keen to control Conqueror's posture. Conqueror won't allow Jaa to get back to his feet. Conqueror is fighting to break Jaa's control of his arms but Jaa is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Conqueror gets to his feet - Jaa follows without any prompting. Conqueror misses with a straight left. Jaa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Jaa looks to land a left hand but Conqueror moved out of range nicely. Jaa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Conqueror.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Jaa dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Donk. Jaa catches Conqueror right on the button with a cross. Jaa lands a glancing blow to the side of Conqueror's head. Conqueror throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jaa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jaa looking to pass the guard. Jaa wants to control from the top but Conqueror keeps moving. Jaa stays in close to Conqueror's body and controls the position. Jaa tries to free his leg and advance position but Conqueror is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaa throwing strikes from guard but Conqueror blocks nicely. Jaa lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Conqueror is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Oh Conqueror is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jaa gets to his feet and stands over Conqueror, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Conqueror felt that one! Jaa unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Conqueror from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Jaa! In his post fight interview, Tony Jaa gave a big smile as he said 'I wanna thank my team at Last Dragon MMA in Hilo! I was just a kid off the street and they saw something in me.
