Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joel Prusczek! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prusczek manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Atkinson on his heels. He'll look to pass Atkinson's guard now, I'm sure. Prusczek wants to control from the top but Atkinson keeps moving. Prusczek stands and throws Atkinson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Atkinson sneaks back into half guard. Prusczek wants to take a breather but Atkinson is having none of it. Atkinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Prusczek is working away from the top position though. Atkinson really is a fat lump. Prusczek stops Atkinson from getting back to his feet.
Prusczek is trying to control. Atkinson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Prusczek prevents Atkinson from standing back up.
Atkinson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Prusczek throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Prusczek seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Atkinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Prusczek missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Prusczek not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Atkinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Prusczek is working away from the top position though.

Atkinson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Prusczek scores with a couple of nice shots. Prusczek seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Atkinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Atkinson keeping hold of Prusczek's head, controlling as best he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prusczek is pressing down on Atkinson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Atkinson is holding on for now. Atkinson is refusing to be controlled, as Prusczek sits in half guard. Russ Atkinson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Prusczek throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Atkinson tries to keep at a distance but Prusczek has taken the fight into the clinch. Prusczek lands a shoulder strike. Prusczek has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Atkinson regains guard immediately. Prusczek looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Atkinson wants to stand up but Prusczek is controlling him. Atkinson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Prusczek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Atkinson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Prusczek drops back looking for a leg! Atkinson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Atkinson manages to kick Prusczek off! Prusczek jumps back into Atkinson's guard. Atkinson has his hands on Prusczek's head, controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prusczek postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Atkinson wants to stand up but Prusczek is controlling him. Atkinson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Prusczek presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Prusczek working hard to break the clinch. Atkinson manages to break the clinch.
Prusczek throws a body shot but no joy. Atkinson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Prusczek to the ground. Atkinson is now in Prusczek's guard. Atkinson wanted to stand there but Prusczek had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Prusczek not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Russ Atkinson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Atkinson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Atkinson showed some decent athleticism there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Atkinson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Prusczek defends it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Atkinson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Prusczek is in Atkinson's guard. Prusczek is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Atkinson seems keen to control Prusczek's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Atkinson is on top in guard.
