Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edson Barboza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rizzo comes to the cage accompanied by headbussa. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Edson Barboza was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyson Rizzo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Edson Barboza! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barboza shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rizzo defends it nicely. Rizzo misses with a lunging right hand
and Barboza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've been told by Rizzo's head coaches at The Clinic Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Barboza uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rizzo. Rizzo swings widly with a right hand
and Barboza counters with a head kick. That will keep Rizzo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Rizzo swings widly with a right hand
and Barboza counters with a flying knee. Nice. Barboza looks winded! Barboza walks into a stiff left hand from Rizzo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jab by Rizzo. Rizzo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Barbozas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Rizzo throws a jab when Barboza was well out of range. Good shot there by Rizzo. Rizzo scores with a jab. Barboza shoots in looking for a takedown. Rizzo tries to sprawl out of it but Barboza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rizzo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Barboza blocks a jab. Barboza is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tyson Rizzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rizzo scores with a jab to the jaw.
Barboza is rocked! Rizzo throws a hook to the side of Barboza's head but Barboza sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Barboza is still on wobbly legs! Can Rizzo finish him? Barboza keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rizzo. Barboza seems to have recovered his senses. Rizzo lands with an overhand left. Rizzo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. and Rizzo counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Barboza! He's just covering up as Rizzo starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Rizzo! A determined Tyson Rizzo didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it! Edson Barboza spoke after the fight, saying 'what can i say? he beat me'.
