Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stirling Moloch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Black has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stirling Moloch!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Moloch sprawling to the canvas. Black follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Moloch hang on?


It looks like Stirling Moloch has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moloch is trying to get back to full guard.
Black is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Moloch manages to get to full guard.
Black works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Black trying to mount his opponent but Moloch defends it.
Moloch wants to improve his position but Black is controlling well.

Black moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Moloch.

Black thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Moloch is looking to reverse the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Black is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moloch knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

You can see the frustration on Moloch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Moloch tries to bench press Black off him but Black keeps the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A slow jab from Black misses its intended target.

Moloch shoots in and bounces Black off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Black can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Moloch controls the pace.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
I looks like Moloch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moloch gets to his feet - Black follows without any prompting.
No joy there for Black, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Black misses with a double jab.
Black throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jack Black is winning the standup battle so far.
Moloch scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moloch circles away from the clinch attempt.
Black slips a straight right by Moloch.

Moloch drives through with a takedown into guard.
Moloch wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.
Moloch pushing down on Black's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Moloch sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Black defending well though.
Moloch passes the guard and advances to mount!

Moloch swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Black is now in Moloch's guard. A big mistake from Moloch there, giving up the dominant position!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moloch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Moloch is trying to keep Black in close.
Moloch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Moloch has his foot on Black's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Black works his way back into a safe position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stirling Moloch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Moloch ducks under a wild hook from Black.
Black misses with the combination.
Moloch throws a right hand that Black ducks under and follows up with a left that Black also avoids with ease.

Black gets caught flat footed, as Moloch shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Moloch throws and elbow that misses. Black uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Moloch's guard. Nice move by Black!

Black has gone for a leg lock! Moloch slips out almost immediately though and dives into Black's guard.
Moloch wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Moloch drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Black dives on top into guard.
Moloch looking to control.
Black has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Black wants to get up but he can't break Moloch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Black has gone for a leg lock! Moloch slips out almost immediately though and dives into Black's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moloch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moloch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Black is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Moloch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Black is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Black has escaped and now he's on top!

Moloch looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Moloch has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Black has passed into side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Moloch tries to buck Black off but Black is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Moloch's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Moloch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Black wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Black is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

And that's the end of the fight!
Stirling Moloch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Moloch has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
