Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Agasi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Milo Coors! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coors takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Coors shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Agasi pinned against the cage. Agasi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Coors misses with a takedown attempt and Agasi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Agasi stuffs the takedown attempt from Coors. Coors gets slowly back to his feet. Armand Agasi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milo Coors. Coors shoots in but no luck this time. Coors slips a jab from Agasi. Agasi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Agasi lunges at Coors with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Coors's hand. Coors shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Agasi but Agasi pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coors fails with the takedown and Agasi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Coors moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coors misses with a few strikes there.

and Coors counters with a two punch combo. Agasi misses with a right hand and Coors counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Agasi misses with a left hand and Coors makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Agasi takes a body punch but keeps moving. Coors bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Agasi misses with a looping right. Agasi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Coors takes a swing at Agasi's ribcage but misses. Coors slips under a jab from Agasi.

Coors shoots in but no luck this time. Agasi misses with a right hand and Coors counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Agasi! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coors wants to lay and pray for a moment but Agasi keeps working. Agasi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Coors off and has taken his back! Agasi doesn't have the hooks in and Coors manages to turn into his guard.
Agasi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coors working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Agasi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Agasi stalling. Agasi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Agasi is trying to control. Coors wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Agasi throwing shots but Coors is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Agasi is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Coors is trying to get back to full guard. Coors taking some punishment here, with Agasi in his half guard. Coors blocking the ground and pound attempt from Agasi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coors regains full guard. Nicely done. Agasi lands a couple of decent looking shots. Coors looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Agasi is defending well. Coors quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Agasi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Coors celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
