Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Jerks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Camatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Jerks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antonio Camatta!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jerks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Camatta counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Camatta.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Camatta wants to pass the guard but Jerks is keeping the position.
Camatta stands and throws Jerks's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Camatta advances to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Camatta mounts Jerks! Really nice guard pass there!

Camatta moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jerks has worked his arm free - good work by Jerks!
Camatta tries to advance to mount but Jerks denies him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Camatta works to advance to full mount. Jerks defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Camatta is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jerks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jerks shrugs it off.
Camatta wants to control the pace but Jerks is squirming around nicely.
Jerks wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Camatta trying to control but Jerks is having none of it.
Jerks tries to lock up and control but Camatta gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Camatta tries to control but Jerks wriggling away.

Camatta working for a submission but Jerks is keeping him at bay.
Camatta wants to take Jerks's back here but Jerks is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Camatta is still trying to improve position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Antonio Camatta dominated that round.
That's time! Jerks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Jerks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Camatta sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jerks somewhat.
Jerks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jerks has his takedown stuffed

so Camatta counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Jerks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Camatta passes Jerks's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Camatta is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Jerks to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Camatta controls from within his opponent's guard.
Camatta pushes down on Jerks's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Camatta trying to control from Jerks's half guard. Jerks has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

Camatta postures up.
Camatta slips nicely into half guard.
Jerks wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jerks is refusing to be controlled, as Camatta sits in half guard.

Camatta is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jerks is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Antonio Camatta!
A relieved looking Antonio Camatta thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
