Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jitsu comes to the cage accompanied by Nikkfurie- The a la Menthe. Collins has chosen Irish Rebel Song as his entrance music. Max Collins told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Collins!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jitsu.
Collins throws a front kick aimed at Jitsu's knee but Jitsu avoids it well.
Collins throws a head kick that misses.
Jitsu misses with a head kick.
Jitsu swinging wildly here.
A punch combination from Collins misses.
Jitsu shoots for a takedown but Collins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jitsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Collins pinned against the cage. Collins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jiu Jitsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jitsu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Collins's waist but Collins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jitsu off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Collins gets a double leg takedown into Jitsu's guard.
Jitsu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Collins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jitsu is tightening it up a little... Collins has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Collins reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Collins taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jitsu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jiu Jitsu!
