Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antoni Kristofer Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). He arrived on a last minute flight shortly after looking tired and unhappy. Officials decided the fight should still take place, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira throws a body shot but no joy.
Hong lands a slapping body shot.
A low kick from Pereira is predictable there
and Hong counters with a thumping low kick.
Pereira misses with a low kick.
Hong fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pereira looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pereira fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hong is out of range.
Hong throws a body kick that misses.
Hong connects with a looping right hand.
Pereira feints and then cracks Hong's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hong down.
Pereira throws a body punch but Hong moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Hong has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Pereira lands a jab to Hong's midsection.
Hong has a takedown stuffed.
Pereira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hong's head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pereira has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Pereira tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hong just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hong gets through Pereira's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Hong pushes Pereira back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pereira is still on wobbly legs! Can Hong finish him?

Hong lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hong digs a right hand underneath Pereira's ribcage. Pereira let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Pereira's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hong creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Pereira with a big uppercut! Pereira tries to clinch up but Hong pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Pereira to the mat! Pereira covers up and Hong unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Antoni Kristofer Hong started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
