Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Labed Murazel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Gilas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gilas has chosen Remember The Name - Fort Minor as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sean Gilas! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Murazel. Gilas does a little dance to reset his feet. Gilas throws a looping overhand right but Murazel ducks down to avoid it. Gilas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gilas moves out of range of the strikes. Murazel swings for the body but Gilas moves out of range.
Murazel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gilas.
Murazel has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ironfist Athletics in the buildup to the fight. Gilas throws a right and a left that both miss. Murazel scores with a hook. Gilas throws a body shot but no joy. Gilas drives through and clinches with Murazel against the cage.
Gilas swings wildly with an uppercut but Murazel uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gilas turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gilas manages to end up in side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gilas throwing strikes but Murazel manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Murazel controlling from side mount. Murazel working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gilas is not content to let Murazel control the position. Murazel is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gilas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Gilas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Murazel trying to control from half guard but Gilas is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murazel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gilas is just riding it out for now. Murazel eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gilas is trying to stand up here but Murazel is controlling him well. Gilas wants to improve his position but Murazel is controlling well.

That was a close round but I would say that Labed Murazel will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Murazel has hold of Gilas's hands but Gilas slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Gilas landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Murazel is looking for a sweep. Gilas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gilas is pressing down on Murazel's thigh, looking to free his foot. Murazel is holding on for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gilas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Murazel trying to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Murazel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murazel slips under a jab from Gilas. Murazel misses with a right hand and Gilas counters with a single leg into guard. Murazel didn't expect that. Murazel working for a triangle but Gilas defends it easily.
Gilas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gilas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sean Gilas will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
