The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wisniowiecki misses with a double jab.
Sykes throws a jab but it's blocked by Wisniowiecki.
Wisniowiecki will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mark Sykes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sykes gets a clinch.
Sykes lands a body punch.

Sykes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wisniowiecki.
That kick from Sykes tenderised Wisniowiecki's leg. Wisniowiecki is trying to keep his angry face on.

Sykes stuns Wisniowiecki with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sykes thumps Wisniowiecki with a low kick.
Sykes moves into the clinch successfully.
Sykes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Wisniowiecki chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sykes can pounce on him.
Wisniowiecki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A combination from Sykes does no damage.
Wisniowiecki takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wisniowiecki looks winded!
Sykes moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sykes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wisniowiecki.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sykes.
Wisniowiecki avoids the head kick by Sykes.
Wisniowiecki takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sykes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Sykes. Those never looked like landing.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sykes. That's going to slow Wisniowiecki down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wisniowiecki's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Sykes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sykes lands with an uppercut that bounces Wisniowiecki off the cage and back into range.
Sykes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sykes takes the fight into the clinch.
Sykes scores with a nice hook to the head.

Sykes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wisniowieckis head.
Wisniowiecki's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Wisniowiecki is rocked!
Sykes creates a bit of distance and cracks Wisniowiecki with a big uppercut! Wisniowiecki goes down! The referee pushes Sykes away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Wisniowiecki make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Sykes takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Mark Sykes!
Mark Sykes decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
