Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Octavius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moritsune Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moritsune Musashi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Moritsune Musashi!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi moves out of range of the leg kick from Octavius.
Octavius blocks a head kick by Musashi.
Octavius fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Musashi checks it well.
Musashi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Musashi tries a head kick but it misses.
Octavius fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Musashi to the ground. Octavius is now in Musashi's guard.
Musashi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Octavius will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Octavius slips nicely into half guard.
Musashi has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Octavius wants to pass the guard but Musashi is defending well.
Musashi trying to hold on to Octavius's head to control him but Octavius postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Musashi gets back to full guard.
Musashi has his feet on Octavius's thighs here. He's pushed Octavius off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Octavius screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
