Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Heke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Szymon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heke kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Face The Pain by Stemme. Jake Heke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Heke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Braden Szymon !
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szymon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Heke pinned against the cage. Heke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Szymon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Heke swivels and escapes.
Szymon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Szymon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Szymon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A nice combination there by Heke.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Szymon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jake Heke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Braden Szymon .
Szymon looks gassed!
Szymon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Heke swinging wilding here.
Nice combo by Heke! Oh, that's hurt him - Szymon falls to the canvas and Heke follows him into side control.
Szymon is rocked!
The strikes coming from Heke are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Szymon is still in real trouble! Can Heke finish him?
Heke staying calm.
Szymon seems to have recovered his senses.
Heke stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Heke ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Szymon takes one to the side of the head.
Good shot there by Heke.
Szymon seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Heke shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Szymon is backing up but Heke catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Szymon covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Heke Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Heke!
