The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canario takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A head kick lands from da Silva that sends Canario to the canvas. Canario tries to scramble back to his feet but da Silva brings him back down into side control.
Canario is rocked!
It looks like Batu Canario has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
da Silva has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Canario is still on wobbly legs! Can da Silva finish him?
Canario looks gassed!

Canario seems to have recovered his senses.
da Silva throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Canario crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
