0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Huk! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huk throws a one two combo.
It looks like Dauda Koroma has been cut. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Koroma!
It looks like Bob Huk has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koroma throws a combination that misses and Huk counters with a two punch combo. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Koroma will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Huk misses with a series of wild punches.
Koroma changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Huk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Huk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Koroma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Koroma tries to move to mount but Huk blocks the move with his legs. Koroma working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Koroma looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koroma is breathing heavily. Huk is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Huk is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Koroma fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Koroma thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Koroma tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Koroma trying to control the action but Huk is working from the bottom. Huk is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Koroma has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Huk parries the strikes from Koroma easily there. Koroma is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Huk to escape.
Koroma scores with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koroma tries for a kimura.
