Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dux comes to the cage accompanied by Bloodsport - Fight to Survive. Faber has chosen Choke - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dux cracks Faber with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dux throws a low kick but Faber moves out of range easily.
Dux's corner calls for a 1-2. Dux obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Faber's coach down at Nights Watch MMA Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Faber's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Faber cracks Dux with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dux tries to reverse the position but Faber maintains control.
Faber pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Faber can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dux is looking to escape.

Dux tries to lock up and control but Faber gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dux has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Faber is landing with strikes. Dux can't take much more of this.
Faber is looking for the choke from the back position but Dux is controlling his hands well.

A very excited looking Frank Dux rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
