Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Camacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrassle Main (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Octavio Camacho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wrassle Main!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Main fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Main shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Camacho counters by clinching up.
Camacho lands a hook to the side of the head.
Camacho is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Octavio Camacho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wrassle Main.
Main blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Camacho's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Main fails with the takedown.

Main rushes Camacho and presses him up against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Camacho effectively controlling the action here.
Camacho is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Main is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Main lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Camacho manages to get to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Main postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Main postures up in Camacho's guard and throws a big left but Camacho blocks it.
Main throws a big right hand that misses.
Main won't allow Camacho to sweep him here.
Camacho will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Camacho is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Main tries to free his leg and advance position but Camacho is retaining full guard.
Camacho is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Camacho is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Main wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Camacho working Main over with strikes.

Camacho is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Main is just riding it out for now. Camacho eventually gives up the hold.

Camacho is working for a submission of some sort.
Main really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Camacho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Camacho escapes and gets back to his feet.
Camacho misses with a takedown attempt - Main sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Camacho stuffs the takedown attempt from Main. Main gets slowly back to his feet.

Camacho gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Main looks winded!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Camacho has control of Main's left arm, preventing Main from doing any damage.
Camacho has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Camacho utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Octavio Camacho.
Camacho tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Main manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Main shoots and misses

and Camacho holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Main gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Camacho seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Camacho looking for a triangle here. Main is fighting it but it looks tight! Camacho pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Main is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Octavio Camacho!
