The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fielding misses with a low kick as Machida jumps back.
Fielding clobbers Machida with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fielding is looking to clinch.
Machida slips under a jab from Fielding.
Fielding walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Machida checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Machida fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fielding lands a jab.
Fielding looks to land a combination but Machida avoids it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fielding. Machida does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
