Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kangi Ojoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kangi Ojoos has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kangi Ojoos! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaac Frost! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost digs a good hook to Ojoos's body.
Frost misses with a body punch
and Ojoos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Frost looks to score with a jab to the body but Ojoos is just out of range. Ojoos throws a lazy right hand but Frost sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Frost fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ojoos gets caught napping as Frost dives in and scores a takedown. Ojoos manages to retain guard. Frost won't allow Ojoos to sweep him here. Frost engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Frost stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ojoos swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ojoos is looking for a triangle here but Frost uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ojoos stops Frost from passing to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Ojoos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Frost working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Frost is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ojoos has escaped the position, nice work there. Frost passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ojoos! Ojoos can't escape the position.
Frost working for a submission but Ojoos is keeping him at bay. Frost looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost trying to control but Ojoos is having none of it. We've been hearing good reports from Ojoos's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Ojoos is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ojoos is squirming around, avoiding Frost's attempts to control the action. Frost swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ojoos is now in Frost's guard. A big mistake from Frost there, giving up the dominant position! Frost had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ojoos defends it easily. Ojoos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ojoos wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving. Frost working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ojoos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ojoos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Frost escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ojoos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Frost tries to land a sweep but no joy. Frost looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frost wants to sweep but no luck. Frost pushes a forearm under Ojoos's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ojoos is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Isaac Frost! Isaac Frost retains his welterweight title! After the fight, Isaac Frost was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
