Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jed Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Watertown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jed Boyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rex Watertown! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyle takes the fight into the clinch. Watertown wants a takedown.
Watertown gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Watertown content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Watertown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Boyle tries to strike from the bottom.
Boyle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Watertown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Watertown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Watertown prevents Boyle from getting back to his feet. Watertown trying to control but Boyle is working from the bottom. Watertown is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Watertown sitting in guard here, content to control. Watertown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Boyle's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watertown lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Watertown is in close to Boyle's body, working some short punches and elbows. Watertown is working Boyle over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Watertown sitting in guard here, content to control. Boyle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Watertown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Watertown's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Watertown trying to control but Boyle is working from the bottom. Watertown content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyle has momentary wrist control but Watertown slips an elbow through the middle. Watertown is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Watertown not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Watertown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Boyle's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watertown is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Boyle throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Watertown working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Boyle's head. Watertown is in close to Boyle's body, working some short punches and elbows. Watertown content to stall in guard here. Watertown is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boyle is looking for a triangle but Watertown pushes his legs off easily.

Watertown makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Watertown thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Watertown wants to control from the top but Boyle keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boyle being controlled here, momentarily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Watertown content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rex Watertown dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Boyle wants to clinch but Watertown slips to the side and Watertown counters with a takedown into side control. Watertown is chipping away with strikes.
Boyle is looking for a sweep. Watertown advances to mount. Watertown lands a big elbow.
Boyle is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. BOOM! Watertown connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Boyle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Watertown is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Boyle is surviving well by controlling Watertown's body position as best he can. Watertown cracks Boyle with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rex Watertown!
