Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Havel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daley Lintz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Havel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daley Lintz! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lintz misses with an uppercut
and Havel counters with a two punch combo. Nice defenses there by Havel. Havel with a poor takedown and Lintz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lintz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Havel's guard. Lintz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Havel sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lintz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lintz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Havel makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Havel.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lintz trying to control but Havel is working from the bottom. Havel keeping full guard, as Lintz tries to pass. Havel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lintz postures up in Havel's guard and throws a big left but Havel blocks it. Havel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lintz is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lintz wants to pass the guard but Havel is keeping the position. Lintz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Havel works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lintz tries to free his leg and advance position but Havel is retaining full guard. Havel is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Havel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lintz. Lintz misses with a looping left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Havel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lintz is trying to defend but Havel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Havel is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Havel is thwarting Lintz's attempts to control the position. Lintz is controlling Havel's trapped leg to prevent Havel from advancing to side control. Lintz actively working from the bottom here. Havel is trying to work for a kimura but Lintz is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lintz is looking to improve his position.
Lintz is trying to control but Havel manages to pass to mount!
Havel tries to control but Lintz wriggling away. Havel goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lintz turns into him and now he's in Havel's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lintz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daley Lintz dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lintz misses the jab. Lintz throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Havel counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Havel with a poor takedown so Lintz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Lintz passes Havel's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Lintz is looking to take a break and control but Havel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lintz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Havel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Havel looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lintz trying to pass the guard but Havel defending well. Havel wants to control but Lintz is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lintz working over Havel with some ground and pound. Havel looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lintz content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Lintz tries to pass to full mount but Havel defends it. Lintz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Havel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Havel gets back to full guard.

Lintz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lintz controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Havel looking for a sweep. Not yet Havel, not yet. Lintz throws a big elbow that misses. Lintz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Daley Lintz was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lintz misses the jab. Havel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lintz counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Havel! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lintz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lintz tries to advance to mount but Havel denies him. Lintz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Havel is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lintz's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Havel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lintz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lintz is working for a kimura but Havel is defending it quite comfortably.
Lintz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Havel's head. Havel has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Lintz escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Lintz! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lintz is trying to get an arm triangle but Havel is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Havel tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daley Lintz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Havel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lintz. Lintz pivots, looking for a leg kick but Havel is out of range and Lintz settles back down. Havel tries to sprawl but Lintz drives through with a takedown into half guard. Havel is not content to let Lintz control the position. Lintz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Havel wants to get back to full guard. Havel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lintz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lintz's back! Havel is trying to stick to Lintz's back but Lintz is turning into Havel. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Havel's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lintz. Havel keeping full guard, as Lintz tries to pass. Havel is trying to keep Lintz in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Havel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lintz controls the pace. Havel looking to control but Lintz passes into half guard.
Havel wants to get back to full guard but Lintz has passed into side control. Lintz has knee on belly and moves into mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lintz dominating with strikes here. Daley Lintz has got the better of the ground game so far. Havel tries to lock up and control but Lintz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lintz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Havel can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lintz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Havel is looking to escape. Lintz avoids the attempt from Havel to control. Lintz quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Lintz but it's paid off an Havel is forced to tap! Nice work by Lintz.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Daley Lintz! A relieved looking Daley Lintz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
