Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jar Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Scaccapietre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo comes to the cage accompanied by NELLY HERE COMES THE BOOM. Jar Aldo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a left that rocks Scaccapietre and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Aldo dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Scaccapietre regain composure!
Scaccapietre is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aldo with the ground and pound but Scaccapietre regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Scaccapietre is still in real trouble! Can Aldo finish him?
Aldo stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Aldo lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Scaccapietre sprawling to the canvas. Aldo follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Scaccapietre hang on?
Aldo trying to control the action but Scaccapietre is working from the bottom.
Scaccapietre wants to control but Aldo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Aldo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Scaccapietre defends it well.
Scaccapietre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aldo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Aldo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Scaccapietre is defending against the submission attempts here by Aldo.
Scaccapietre seems to have recovered his senses.
Scaccapietre is not content to let Aldo control the position.

Scaccapietre keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Aldo with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Aldo is trying to work for a kimura but Scaccapietre is defending well.
Scaccapietre is looking for a sweep. Aldo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Scaccapietre is still trying to improve position.

Scaccapietre wants to improve his position but Aldo is controlling well.
Scaccapietre looks winded!
Scaccapietre trying to control but Aldo postures up.
Aldo stands up out of the half guard.
Aldo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Aldo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scaccapietre has closed the distance and engaged Aldo in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aldo prevents a body shot from Scaccapietre.
Aldo is trying to break free.
Aldo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Scaccapietre pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Scaccapietre keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Aldo's efforts to push away.
Scaccapietre is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Scaccapietre escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aldo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A combination from Aldo does no damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aldo lands with a shot to the body.
Scaccapietre misses with a few strikes there.
Aldo drops Scaccapietre with a straight right hand, right on the button! Aldo follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jar Aldo!
Jar Aldo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
