Veljanovski is looking to clinch but Astakhov is avoiding it.
Astakhov gets tackled into the cage by Veljanovski. Veljanovski maintains the clinch.
Veljanovski lands with a right to the head.
Astakhov tries to score a body lock takedown but Veljanovski shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Veljanovski misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Veljanovski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Astakhov keeping moving, preventing Veljanovski from controlling successfully.
Astakhov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Astakhov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Astakhov thows a huge punch but Veljanovski dodges it nicely.
