Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike eastman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mike eastman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne throws a right hand that eastman ducks under and follows up with a left that eastman also avoids with ease.
eastman moves into the clinch.
eastman keeps control of Payne as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
eastman throws a knee to the head but misses.
eastman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Payne is trying to break the clinch but eastman has him pressed against the cage.

Payne bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops eastman! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like mike eastman has been cut.
eastman throws his legs up looking for a submission but Payne uses it to pass to side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

eastman works his way to full guard. Good work.
eastman is looking for a triangle but Payne pushes his legs off easily.
eastman looking for a guillotine here but Payne defends easily.
Payne would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Payne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for eastman on the ground.

eastman working for a triangle but Payne defends it easily.

eastman throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
eastman has a closed guard, preventing Payne from standing up.
Payne trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
eastman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Payne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
eastman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Payne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Payne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Payne is looking to stand up but eastman won't let him.

Payne swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

eastman walks straight into a right hand from Payne - that's dropped him! Payne jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save eastman from any more punishment! eastman complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Max Payne!
