Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Victor Frolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Umba Matumba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frolov comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar - Holy War. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Umba Matumba!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frolov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Matumba manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Frolov shoots in but no luck this time.
Frolov sizes up Matumba with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Matumba blocks a jab.
Frolov misses the jab.
Frolov looks to score with a jab to the body but Matumba is just out of range.
Frolov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Matumba fails with a takedown attempt.
Matumba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Frolov.
Matumba slips a jab from Frolov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frolov lands a slapping body shot.
Matumba has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Matumba takes a jab right on the kisser.
Frolov misses the body punch
and Matumba counters with a straight right hand.
Frolov stuffs the takedown attempt from Matumba. Matumba gets slowly back to his feet.

and Matumba counters by moving into the clinch.
Matumba wants the takedown. Frolov is fighting it off but Matumba persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Frolov's guard against the cage.
Matumba pushes down on Frolov's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Frolov moves into full guard.
Frolov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Matumba tries to free his leg and advance position but Frolov is retaining full guard.
Matumba sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Frolov's guard.
Matumba is looking for a kimura but Frolov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Matumba to get the leverage.
Matumba thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frolov gets full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Matumba connects with a couple of short punches.
Frolov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Matumba.
Matumba working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Frolov's head.
Matumba wants to control from the top but Frolov keeps moving.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Matumba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frolov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Matumba is looking to work some ground and pound but Frolov has wrist control.
Matumba decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Frolov, up you get!
Matumba looks to land a combination but Frolov avoids it well.
Frolov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Matumba moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Frolov is rocked!
Matumba lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Frolov out cold! Frolov is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Umba Matumba!
