Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kim Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabor Pestratus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kim Chow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabor Pestratus! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Pestratus or perhaps it was just good defense by Chow, which made it look bad. Chow takes one to the chin there. Chow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pestratus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pestratus fails with a takedown attempt. Pestratus misses with a few strikes there.
Chow tries to clinch up. Chow tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pestratus swivels and escapes. Chow clinches up against the cage. Chow manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Pestratus engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Pestratus lands a couple of elbows. Pestratus is stalling in the full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pestratus looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pestratus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chow looking for a sweep. Not yet Chow, not yet. Pestratus trying to control the position from guard on top but Chow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pestratus's corner is telling him to maintain position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Gabor Pestratus hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Pestratus lands a nice shot that snaps Chow's head back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Pestratus as Chow shoots in. Pestratus dives in and grabs Chow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chow pushes down on Pestratus's head and hops out. Kim Chow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabor Pestratus. Pestratus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chow. Pestratus misses with a few strikes there.
Pestratus scores with the left hand. Chow knows he should have avoided that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pestratus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Pestratus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chow was covering up waiting for the punch and Pestratus finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pestratus won't allow Chow to get back to his feet. Chow can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pestratus controls the pace. Pestratus chips away with some ground and pound. Pestratus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pestratus postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pestratus landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pestratus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pestratus is in close to Chow's body, working some short punches and elbows. Pestratus works over Chow with some ground and pound from guard. Chow is trying to control the position but Pestratus postures up. Pestratus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chow is keeping the position for now. Chow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pestratus working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chow's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Chow working for a triangle but Pestratus defends it easily.
Pestratus passes into half guard. Chow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pestratus connects with a nice short shot to Chow's temple. Pestratus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ground and pound from Pestratus. Pestratus working the head and body with strikes. Pestratus is controlling the pace.
Chow is looking to improve his position.

Gabor Pestratus dominated that round. That's time! Chow's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice sprawl there from Pestratus as Chow shoots in. Pestratus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chow. Pestratus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chow's guard. Pestratus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pestratus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pestratus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Pestratus is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chow is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chow has escaped and now he's on top! Pestratus has Chow pulled in close to control his posture. Chow trying to control the position from guard on top but Pestratus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chow has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chow looking to pass the guard. Pestratus has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Chow wants to control from the top but Pestratus keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Kim Chow wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Pestratus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chow. Chow closes the distance and clinches. Pestratus is trying to drag Chow to the mat but Chow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pestratus misses with a short punch on the inside. Chow is defending well against a takedown attempt. Pestratus has Chow pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chow manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kim Chow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabor Pestratus. Pestratus misses with some punches.
Chow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pestratus stuffs the takedown attempt from Chow. Chow gets slowly back to his feet. Kim Chow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pestratus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Pestratus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Chow is looking to clinch. Pestratus swinging wildly here.
Pestratus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Chows jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chow has a takedown stuffed. Chow scores with a head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chow misses with a takedown attempt and Pestratus counters with a shoot takedown. Chow fights it but they end up in guard. Chow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pestratus stands and throws Chow's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pestratus controls the position from side control. Pestratus working the body and head with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Gabor Pestratus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Chow takes one to the side of the head.
Pestratus throws a front kick aimed at Chow's knee but Chow avoids it well. Pestratus drives through with a takedown into guard. Pestratus trying to control but Chow is working from the bottom. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pestratus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pestratus missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Chow is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pestratus is controlling him. Pestratus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Pestratus scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Pestratus content to stall in guard here. Chow looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Pestratus working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Chow preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pestratus works over Chow with some ground and pound from guard. Pestratus lands a couple of digs. Pestratus stands and throws Chow's legs to the side, diving into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chow being controlled for a moment. Pestratus is working Chow over with some ground and pound from side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pestratus is looking to take a break and control but Chow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pestratus lands some shots froms side control. Pestratus working the body and head with strikes. Pestratus works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Pestratus working the ground and pound from side control. Pestratus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chow is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Chow is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pestratus in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pestratus working the ground and pound. Pestratus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chow takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Chow is rocked! Chow taking a bit of punishment here - Pestratus scoring with strikes. Oh Chow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Chow is not content to let Pestratus control the position. Gabor Pestratus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Chow seems to have got his legs back now. Pestratus staying calm. Pestratus lands a decent elbow from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Gabor Pestratus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Pestratus winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
