Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gaston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob has chosen Notkea rotta - Itä meidän as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Gaston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 26 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Bob! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Bob. That snapped Gaston's head back.
It looks like Nick Gaston has been cut. Sloppy strikes from Gaston. Those never looked like landing. A nice inside leg kick there by Gaston. That's going to slow Bob down. Gaston throws a looping overhand right but Bob ducks down to avoid it. Gaston throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bob. Gaston lands a big shot that drops Bob! Can he finish him?
It looks like Billy Bob has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bob looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gaston is one step ahead there. Gaston drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bob looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bob looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bob! Bob working the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaston defending against the ground and pound. Bob working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Bob postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bob cracks Gaston with a big right hand but Gaston just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bob throws an elbow but Gaston slips to the side and avoids it well. Bob creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gaston sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Gaston might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bob postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bob prevents Gaston from escaping the position. Bob is working Gaston over with some ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The strikes coming from Bob are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Bob misses with the ground and pound. An elbow from Bob crashes against the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Bob is looking to take a break and control but Gaston is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gaston is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bob asserts his dominance and retains side control. Gaston regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bob's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Bob is working for a kimura but Gaston is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob prevents Gaston from standing back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bob misses with an uppercut. Gaston throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Gaston lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bob backs up against the cage.
Bob blocks a head kick by Gaston.
Bob fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gaston misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bob manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gaston on his heels. He'll look to pass Gaston's guard now, I'm sure. Bob trying to move into half guard but instead Gaston has managed to sweep!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gaston trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bob is looking to stand up but Gaston isn't so interested in that idea. Gaston won't allow Bob to sweep him here. Gaston throwing strikes but missing. Gaston would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nick Gaston will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gaston stuffs the takedown attempt from Bob. Bob gets slowly back to his feet. Gaston throws a head kick that misses. Bob throws a series of punches but Gaston avoids them all with ease. Bob moves out of range of the body kick from Gaston.
Gaston throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Gaston on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Gaston thuds a left hand into Bob's body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gaston connects with an inside leg kick. Bob darts in looking for a takedown but Gaston gets double underhooks and turns Bob into the cage. Gaston missing with knees to the body.
Gaston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaston lands with a thumping leg kick.
A solid body kick from Gaston. Bob blocks a head kick by Gaston.
Gaston throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bob throws a jab but it's blocked by Gaston. Gaston changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bob throws a shot from downtown. Gaston moves away and avoids it. Gaston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bob shoots in and drives through. Gaston sprawls well. Nick Gaston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Bob. Bob misses with a lunging right hand
and Gaston counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Bob is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gaston connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bob scrambles back to his feet. Gaston thuds a left hand into Bob's body. A jab from Gaston does it's job there. Nick Gaston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gaston fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bob crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gaston - the referee stops the clock and Bob gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gaston. Bob manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Gaston here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Gaston throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gaston looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Gaston backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Bob's temple! It sends Bob violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Gaston celebrates and the doctors try to help Bob!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Nick Gaston! Jumping up and down and very excited, Nick Gaston waved his t-shirt featuring Springfield HW Nutrition's logo in front of the cameras.
