With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to clinch but Dent moves out of range.
Dent avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Johnson drives through and clinches with Dent against the cage.
Dent misses with an elbow strike.

Dent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Johnson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Johnson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dent has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dent seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Johnson for as long as he can get away with.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson won't allow Dent to get back to his feet.
Johnson is fighting to break Dent's control of his arms but Dent is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dent is looking to control Johnson's arms but Johnson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dent has his back to the cage.

Dent works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dent decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Dent.
Dent pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Johnson! Dent unloads with more strikes and Johnson sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
