Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Freddy Briggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jacek Jackowski!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackowski tries to clinch up but Briggs circles away and keeps his distance.
Jackowski shoots in but Briggs avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jacek Jackowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackowski fails with the takedown
and Briggs counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jackowski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Briggs defends well.
Briggs decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jackowski wants to clinch.
Jackowski tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Briggs moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackowski is fighting off a takedown attempt but Briggs is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jackowski to the mat. Jackowski regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Briggs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Briggs drops back looking for a leg! Jackowski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackowski manages to kick Briggs off! Briggs jumps back into Jackowski's guard.
Briggs lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Briggs loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Briggs trying to control but Jackowski is working from the bottom.
Briggs avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Briggs gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jackowski!
It looks like Freddy Briggs has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackowski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Briggs drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jackowski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackowski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Briggs keeps working.
Briggs manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Briggs lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jackowski wants to get back to full guard but Briggs has passed into side control.
Briggs stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jackowski tries to close the distance and clinch but Briggs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jackowski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Briggs counters by moving into the clinch.
Freddy Briggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacek Jackowski.
Jackowski looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Briggs has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jackowski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackowski tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackowski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Briggs counters with a takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackowski wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Briggs seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Jackowski is tapping! Wow, great finish!
