Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LJ Arnidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Dawkins tries a head kick but it misses.
Arnidd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dawkins's waist but Dawkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arnidd off to one side.

LJ Arnidd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arnidd tries to score a body lock takedown but Dawkins shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Arnidd crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dawkins - the referee stops the clock and Arnidd gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dawkins. Arnidd manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Arnidd changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dawkins tries to avoid it but Arnidd manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dawkins to the ground. Dawkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Arnidd closes the distance and clinches up with Dawkins, looking for a takedown. Arnidd pushes Dawkins against the cage but Dawkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dawkins cracks Arnidd with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
