Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Macadam Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanosuke Sagara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanosuke Sagara will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Macadam Baird! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sanosuke Sagara! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baird feints and as Sagara raises his hands in defense, Baird changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sagara looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Baird thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Baird slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Baird is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sagara knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sagara is trying to escape the position but Baird is controlling the position. Baird is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sagara has escaped the position, nice work there. Baird is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sagara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Baird tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Baird has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Baird thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sagara pushes Baird away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Baird gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Baird working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Baird looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Baird staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baird is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sagara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sagara is trying to improve his position. Sagara struggling a bit here. Baird wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sagara, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baird is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sagara knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baird trying to control the position but Sagara is working away. Baird working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sagara is trying to get back to half guard. Sagara is not content to let Baird control the position. Baird has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Sagara!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Baird looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Baird moves to the back. Baird is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Sagara is tapping out! This one is all over!
