Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akseli Suokuokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Raefon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suokuokka comes to the cage accompanied by The Bags - Cavemen Rejoice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Raefon's choice of entrance music: Riot - Three Days Grace. Mad Raefon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Akseli Suokuokka's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raefon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Suokuokka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Suokuokka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Raefon has his takedown stuffed
and Suokuokka counters with a three punch combo that has Raefon backing up. Raefon nods at Suokuokka to acknowledge the strikes.
Suokuokka stuffs the takedown.

Raefon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Suokuokka, pushing him back against the cage.
Suokuokka lands a right hand.
Nice elbow from Suokuokka.

It looks like Mad Raefon has been cut.
Raefon wants a takedown but no success here.
Akseli Suokuokka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mad Raefon.

Suokuokka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Suokuokka wants to clinch up but Raefon keeps it at a distance.

Suokuokka clinches up with Raefon and pushes him back against the cage.
Suokuokka lands a left hand that snaps the head of Raefon backwards.
Suokuokka is trying to break the clinch but Raefon is controlling him.

Suokuokka ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Suokuokka no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Suokuokka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Raefon.
Suokuokka thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Suokuokka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Suokuokka lands a nice short elbow.
Raefon gets full guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Suokuokka's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Suokuokka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Raefon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Raefon keeping moving, preventing Suokuokka from controlling successfully.
Raefon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Raefon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Suokuokka manages to get himself to full guard.

Suokuokka has control of Raefon's left arm, preventing Raefon from doing any damage.
Raefon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Raefon working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Raefon postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Suokuokka has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Raefon doesn't defend quickly enough and Suokuokka has managed to lock this one up! Can Raefon escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Suokuokka on a fantastic submission victory.
