Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Francisco Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Serhiy Nazarenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francisco Hernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Serhiy Nazarenko! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hernandez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hernandez lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Nazarenko looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hernandez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Nazarenko tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nazarenko is trying to control the position but Hernandez postures up. Hernandez sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Francisco Hernandez wasn't doing enough on the ground. A jab from Nazarenko misses. Hernandez rushes Nazarenko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hernandez blocks an uppercut.
Hernandez decides to pull guard. Hernandez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Hernandez wanted to stand there but Nazarenko had control of the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hernandez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez stops Nazarenko from standing up. Nazarenko can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hernandez controls the pace. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Francisco Hernandez just wasn't active enough. Nice jab there from Nazarenko. Nazarenko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nazarenko throws a shot to the body.
Nazarenko scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hernandez in his tracks. Hernandez throws a solid leg kick but Nazarenko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hernandez. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hernandez takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hernandez closes the distance and clinches. Hernandez is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nazarenko can't fight it off and eventually Hernandez manages to take the fight to the floor. Nazarenko looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hernandez sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hernandez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hernandez looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hernandez pushing down on Nazarenko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hernandez decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Serhiy Nazarenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nazarenko cracks Hernandez with a good jab. Nazarenko drops Hernandez with a beautiful combination! Hernandez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nazarenko is looking for the KO!
Hernandez is rocked! Nazarenko looks winded! Hernandez works over Nazarenko's head and body with a nice combination. Oh Hernandez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez dives in and scores a takedown into Nazarenko's guard. Nazarenko is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hernandez seems to have got his legs back now. Nazarenko can't keep his opponent in guard - Hernandez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hernandez gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hernandez has managed to clinch.
Hernandez's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Hernandez manages to pull guard.
Hernandez has his hands on Nazarenko's head, controlling the position. Hernandez is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Nazarenko has his hands clasped together but Hernandez extends and breaks Nazarenko's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hernandez.
