Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Snake! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, John Mangel and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Hunt enables Snake to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hunt manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Snake throws a big right hand that misses. Hunt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snake on the ground. Snake slips nicely into half guard. Snake is figuring out what he wants to do next. Snake is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hunt is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
