Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darin Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darin Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Crosby! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Darin Reed has been cut. Reed moves in looking to clinch but Crosby pushes him off. Crosby tries to clinch but Reed moves out of range. A momentary lapse in concentration from Reed enables Crosby to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reed manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Reed being controlled here, momentarily. Reed thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Crosby wants to pass the guard but Reed is keeping the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reed is looking to stand up but Crosby isn't so interested in that idea. Crosby wants to stand but Reed is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed is striking off his back. Crosby thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Reed is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crosby pulls his head out easily. Crosby stops Reed from getting back to his feet.
Reed is looking to improve his position.
Crosby wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reed keeps working. Crosby tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crosby has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Reed is trying to stand up. Reed is looking to improve his position but Crosby isn't that keen on the idea. Crosby misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Crosby controlling the pace for now. Reed is trying to stand.

He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Crosby controlling from mount. Crosby can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reed is looking to escape. Reed throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Crosby tries to control but Reed wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crosby controlling his opponent. Crosby throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Reed because Crosby loaded up on that one. Crosby scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Crosby goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Reed turns into him and now he's in Crosby's guard.
Reed is in close to Crosby's body, working some short punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Crosby dominated that round. The cut man is working on Darin Reed's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Reed tries to keep at a distance but Crosby has taken the fight into the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Crosby - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Reed's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Crosby is trying to trip Reed. He has hold of a leg but Reed is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Crosby persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Crosby trying to control the position from guard on top but Reed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. James Crosby has got the better of the ground game so far. Reed wants to stand and escape but Crosby is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom. Reed pushes Crosby off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Reed gets caught flat footed, as Crosby shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Reed wants to stand and escape but Crosby is having none of it. Crosby is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Reed wants to stand up but Crosby is controlling him. Crosby is standing up over Reed. Reed looks to escape but Crosby dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reed is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crosby postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Reed is looking to regain half guard here but Crosby keeps moving and retains side control. Reed is not content to let Crosby control the position. Crosby misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reed is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Crosby has just dragged him back down to the mat. Crosby decides to take the fight back to the feet. Crosby shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby trying to advance position but Reed counters by regaining guard. Crosby throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are working up against the cage. Reed manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Crosby is trying to trip Reed. He has hold of a leg but Reed is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Crosby persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Crosby is breathing heavily. Reed is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Crosby trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom. Reed manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crosby jumps guard.
Crosby is controlling Reed's posture. Crosby looking to control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Crosby looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Reed has picked Crosby up and slammed him! Crosby can't keep hold of the triangle and Reed manages to pass to side control! Reed in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reed wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Crosby, who protects the arm well. Crosby wants to control but Reed postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Crosby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Darin Reed's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Reed swats away the attempt to clinch by Crosby. Excellent takedown into side control there by Crosby. Reed is pushing Crosby's head away, looking to escape. Crosby manages to hold on to the position though. Crosby really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Crosby controlling the position from side mount. Crosby is looking to take a break and control but Reed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crosby decides to stand back up. Crosby steps back and let's Reed get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Crosby lands in his opponent's guard. Crosby takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Crosby looking to sit in guard and control but Reed gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Crosby looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crosby trying to keep a closed guard but Reed is proving a slippery customer.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. James Crosby wasn't active enough on the ground. Crosby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reed paws at him with a jab and circles away. Crosby shoots in and bounces Reed off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Crosby won't allow Reed to get back to his feet. Reed has a closed guard, preventing Crosby from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Crosby has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Reed misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Reed's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Reed wants to clinch. Crosby shoots in and bounces Reed off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reed has his feet on Crosby's thighs here. He's pushed Crosby off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Crosby screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
