Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reese comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Person of Interest OST - Knock Knock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Reese! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reese jabs at Mousasi's body. Mousasi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Reese fails to land with a series of punches.
Mousasi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mousasi in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mousasi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mousasi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mousasi is trying to get an arm triangle but Reese is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mousasi is trying to get an arm triangle but Reese is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reese taking punishment in the form of punches.
Mousasi has hold of Reese's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Reese seems comfortable defending it but Mousasi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Reese is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Reese is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mousasi couldn't care less - he's delighted!
