Makkonen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Salmela looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Oooooh!!! Makkonen has knocked Salmela down with a huge combo! Makkonen steps away and waves a wobbly Salmela back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Heikki Salmela has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makkonen throws a right hand that Salmela ducks under and follows up with a left that Salmela also avoids with ease.
Salmela really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Makkonen pounces like a tiger and cracks Salmela with a vicious hook! Salmela is down but not out! Makkonen follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
