Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Erschov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexei Erschov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Fury! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Erschov! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erschov misses with a takedown and Fury counters with a shoot takedown. Erschov fights it but they end up in guard. Fury connects with a couple of short punches. Erschov will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Erschov has momentary wrist control but Fury slips an elbow through the middle. Erschov keeping moving, preventing Fury from controlling successfully. Fury has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Fury stands up over Erschov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Fury sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Erschov's guard. Fury is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Erschov has hold of Fury's hands but Fury slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Erschov tries to get to full guard but Fury has control of the leg. Erschov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fury pulls his head out easily. Fury seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Erschov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Erschov throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Erschov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fury gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fury working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Erschov's head. Fury landing some decent shots from guard. Fury lands a couple of digs. Fury keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Erschov's head. Fury scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Erschov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fury tries to free his leg and advance position but Erschov is retaining full guard. Erschov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fury doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fury manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Erschov shoots in for a takedown but Fury shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Erschov doesn't manage to clinch there - Fury circles away.

Erschov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fury tries to avoid it but Erschov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fury to the ground. Fury escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Erschov tries to clinch but Fury is having none of it. Erschov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's going to take a lot out of Alexei Erschov. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fury drops an elbow to the side of Erschov's head. Erschov tries to roll over but Fury keeps him under control. Erschov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fury slips a nice elbow through Erschov's hands, connecting with Erschov's forehead. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fury lands a nice short elbow. Erschov is refusing to be controlled, as Fury sits in half guard. Fury controlling the action here. Fury looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Erschov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fury scoring with strikes to the body and head. Erschov is looking for a sweep. Fury is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fury wants to free his trapped foot but Erschov is holding on for dear life with his legs. Erschov is pressing down on Fury's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Erschov is rocked! Fury loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Erschov scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Fury land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Fury stands and salutes the crowd.
