The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plonski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Weeks tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Plonski is in Weeks's guard.
Weeks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Weeks looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Plonski passes into half guard.
Plonski winds up and cracks Weeks with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Plonski is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Plonski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Weeks tries to get to full guard but Plonski has control of the leg.
Weeks is not content to let Plonski control the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Agniesz Plonski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Weeks darts in looking for a takedown but Plonski gets double underhooks and turns Weeks into the cage.
Plonski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Weeks uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
