Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarik Belson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Tupper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Tupper will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarik Belson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobby Tupper! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tupper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tupper closes the distance and clinches. Tupper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tupper moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A nice combination there by Tupper.
Belson tries to move into range but Tupper moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Belson has a takedown stuffed. Belson tries to keep at a distance but Tupper has taken the fight into the clinch. Belson tries to stall but Tupper uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Belson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Belson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tupper pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jarik Belson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tupper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This has been an exciting period of action! Tupper is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tupper takes the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper breaks from the clinch.
Bobby Tupper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Belson swings for the body but Tupper moves out of range.
Belson avoids a kick to the body.
Tupper moves out of range as Belson strikes. Belson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Belson avoids the head kick by Tupper.
Tupper scores with a sloppy right hand. Belson should have avoided that one. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tupper, right into the meat.
Tupper wants to clinch up but Belson keeps it at a distance. Belson tries to keep at a distance but Tupper has taken the fight into the clinch. Tupper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tupper tries to close the distance and clinch but Belson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Belson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Belson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tupper defends well and Belson ends up having to push Tupper into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tupper creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Belson's defenses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tupper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Belson misses with a wild body shot. A head kick from Tupper lands but Belson takes it in his stride. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Belson swats away the attempt to clinch by Tupper. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Belson is defended easily by Tupper. Tupper misses with the combination.
Tupper forces Belson back against the cage and clinches. Tupper breaks from the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Tupper. Tupper rushes Belson and presses him up against the cage. Tupper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Belson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Belson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Belson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belson trying to control the position but Tupper is working away. Belson is trying to get an arm triangle but Tupper is defending well. Tupper is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Belson is controlling him well. Belson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tupper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Belson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tupper has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tupper wants to get back to his feet. Belson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tupper is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Belson yanks on the arm and Tupper is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Belson.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jarik Belson! A relieved looking Jarik Belson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
