The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bzdunek throws a nice looking combination but Francisco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bzdunek lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A combination from Bzdunek does no damage. Bzdunek cracks Francisco with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Bzdunek lands with an overhand left. Bzdunek connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Daniel Francisco has been cut. Bzdunek misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bzdunek looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bzdunek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Francisco shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bzdunek throws a shot from downtown. Francisco moves away and avoids it. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Francisco has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Francisco takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A combination from Bzdunek does no damage. Bzdunek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Francisco circles away quickly and effectively. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Bzdunek dominated that round. The cut man is working on Daniel Francisco's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bzdunek is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Francisco. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bzdunek misses with a jab, cross combination.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Daniel Francisco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bzdunek swings and misses with a shot to the body and Francisco counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Francisco stands up over Bzdunek, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bzdunek keeping moving, preventing Francisco from controlling successfully. Daniel Francisco has got the better of the ground game so far. Francisco passes Bzdunek's left leg - he's now in half guard. Francisco is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that's the end of the fight! John Bzdunek showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bzdunek, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... John Bzdunek! After the fight, John Bzdunek was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
