Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davey Rutherford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rutherford might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Another Way to Die. The key to victory for Davey Rutherford has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rutherford defends it nicely.
Ryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Rutherford sprawls well. He's pushed Ryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ryan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rutherford will feel that in the morning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rutherford could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ryan pushes a forearm under Rutherford's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Rutherford is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
