Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Raty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tiger Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Seppo Raty!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raty goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward.

Jackson wants the takedown. Raty is fighting it off but Jackson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Raty's guard against the cage.

Raty working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jackson won't allow Raty to sweep him here.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Raty has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Raty's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Raty has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Raty is retaining full guard.
Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Raty gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Raty not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Raty controls the pace.

Raty seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A slapping leg kick lands for Jackson.
Raty is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck for Raty with that takedown attempt.
We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at Abraham's Gym (6 coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jackson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Raty circles away.

and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tiger Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seppo Raty.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raty takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Raty was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Raty looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Raty holds on and takes a little breather.

Jackson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Raty escapes and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Jackson is trying to control Raty's posture but Raty avoids it.
Jackson tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Raty is working for a guillotine from mount but Jackson frees his head quite easily.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Raty.
Raty is continuing to stall.

Raty quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Raty but it's paid off an Jackson is forced to tap! Nice work by Raty.
