Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raijin Joaquin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Damian Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall closes the distance looking to clinch
and Joaquin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Marshall is trying to drag Joaquin to the mat but Joaquin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Joaquin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Joaquin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marshall circles away.
Marshall wants to clinch
and Joaquin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Marshall has been working on his balance at Cozad MMA Rio, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Joaquin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joaquin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Marshall can't fight it off and eventually Joaquin manages to take the fight to the floor. Marshall looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Marshall scores with a one two! Joaquin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

I would just about give that final round to Raijin Joaquin.
Well Joaquin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
