PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Lee Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kip Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes to the cage accompanied by Go, Go Power Rangers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Lee Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kip Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Morgan.
A jab from Scott misses.
Morgan tries to clinch up.
Scott dips to his left and cracks Morgan with an uppercut!
Scott rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Morgan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Morgan tries to land a front kick but Scott steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Scott clinches.
Scott tries a body shot but Morgan blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Scott fails to land.
Morgan throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Scott pushes Morgan back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters up against the cage, Morgan throws an elbow but misses.
Scott managing to block the knees to the body from Morgan.
Morgan letting Scott take a breather here.
Scott definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Scott scores with a nice hook to the head.
Scott misses with some punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Scott manages to break the clinch.
Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch but Scott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Morgan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Morgan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Morgan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Scott to score with a decent uppercut.

Morgan is rocked!
Scott swinging wildly here.
Morgan is still on wobbly legs! Can Scott finish him?
Scott thumps Morgan with a low kick.
Scott lunges at Morgan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Morgan's hand.
Scott digs a good body shot into Morgan's ribs.
Morgan scores with a head kick. Scott tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Scott walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Morgan drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Scott swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Morgan's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
