Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McDaniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDaniel has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. John McDaniel will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Willy Wonka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John McDaniel! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. McDaniel checks a low kick from Wonka. Wonka scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wonka wants to control but McDaniel is keeping him busy. McDaniel prevents Wonka from improving position. Wonka tries to score with some ground and pound. McDaniel controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wonka wants to lay and pray for a moment but McDaniel keeps working. The ground and pound from Wonka seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Wonka connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused McDaniel some visible discomfort.
Wonka wants to control but McDaniel is keeping him busy. Wonka tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wonka working the ground and pound. McDaniel looks winded! Wonka content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McDaniel manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Wonka trying to hold on to McDaniel's head to control him but McDaniel postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wonka is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McDaniel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McDaniel's back! Wonka is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. McDaniel knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften McDaniel for a finish. McDaniel trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Wonka tries to keep control of the position but McDaniel is staying busy. Wonka has both hooks in and is working for a choke. McDaniel is in real trouble here. Wonka gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, McDaniel is tapping out! Wonka wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Willy Wonka!
