Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jerzy Arlecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Santoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlecki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Undead. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerzy Arlecki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Nicky Santoro! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santoro attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Arlecki rushes Santoro and presses him up against the cage. Arlecki scores with a shoulder strike. Santoro is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Santoro is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Santoro wants to get back to striking at distance but Arlecki won't allow it.

and Arlecki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Santoro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Arlecki pinned against the cage. Arlecki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arlecki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Santoro swats him away and circles back towards the center. Arlecki misses with a head kick.
Arlecki takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arlecki lands a really nice looking cross but Santoro seems unphased.
Arlecki slips under a jab from Santoro. Santoro uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Arlecki. Santoro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Arlecki working a defensive guard here.
We've been hearing good reports from Arlecki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Santoro passes Arlecki's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Santoro is figuring out what he wants to do next. Arlecki is trying to control but can't.
Santoro uses his free foot to push down on Arlecki's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Arlecki. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poor strikes thrown by Santoro there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santoro fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Santoro wants to control the pace but Arlecki is squirming around nicely. Arlecki controls the position. Santoro has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Santoro putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Santoro trying to control but he's not successful this time. Arlecki tries to reverse the position but Santoro maintains control. Arlecki tries to lock up and control but Santoro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santoro lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Arlecki hang on? Santoro breaks from Arlecki's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Arlecki is rocked! Santoro postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Arlecki badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Santoro around the waist but Santoro pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Santoro is the winner by TKO! Santoro jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
