Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Filip Wera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Nowenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arthur Nowenson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arthur Nowenson! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nowenson darts in trying to clinch and Wera counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wera. Wera postures up in Nowenson's guard and throws a big left but Nowenson blocks it. Wera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wera throwing strikes from guard but Nowenson blocks nicely. Nowenson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wera slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wera stands up over Nowenson, holding his feet.
