Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyrus Pope! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinny Mack! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mack circles away from the clinch attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pope. Pope looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Pope gets tackled into the cage by Mack. Mack maintains the clinch. Pope manages to break the clinch.
Mack gets a clinch. Mack gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Cyrus Pope has been cut. A frustrated look appears on Pope's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pope is trying to stall.
Pope is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mack breaks from the clinch.
Mack fails in his attempt to clinch. Mack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pope. Pope wants to clinch. Mack clinches up with Pope and pushes him back against the cage. Mack breaks the clinch.
Mack tries a head kick but it misses.
Mack tries to close the distance and clinch but Pope swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pope really is a fat lump. Mack avoids a kick to the body.
Mack pushes Pope away with a front kick. Mack has Pope up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pope pulls guard effortlessly. Mack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Mack would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The ref stands the fighters back up because Cyrus Pope just wasn't active enough. Some bone on bone action there as Pope checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mack keeps Pope at a distance using the push kick. Mack has Pope up against the cage in a clinch.

Pope has his hands on Mack's head, controlling the position. Mack wants to stand but Pope is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pope pulls Mack in close to his closed guard and prevents Mack from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cyrus Pope wasn't doing enough on the ground. Mack moves into the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mack stalling in the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mack manages to break the clinch.
Mack misses with a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vinny Mack dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cyrus Pope's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mack is looking to clinch. Mack gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mack scores with a shoulder strike. Pope working hard to break the clinch. Mack breaks the clinch.
Pope fails in his attempt to clinch. Mack scores with a sloppy right hand. Pope should have avoided that one. Mack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pope. Pope dives in for a single leg takedown but Mack sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Pope has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mack is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyrus Pope. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pope managing to block the knees to the body from Mack.
Mack lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Pope.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack lands a damaging elbow. Mack pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mack - that will leave a mark!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mack darts in and clinches Pope up against the cage. Mack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mack lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pope will feel that in the morning. A punch combination from Mack misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mack gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mack breaks the clinch.
Good leg kick by Mack there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vinny Mack seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mack tries to clinch but Pope is having none of it. Mack scoring well with a low kick there.
Cyrus Pope is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mack tries to bum rush Pope with a series of wild strikes but Pope uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mack rushes Pope and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Pope is trying to drag Mack to the mat but Mack just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Mack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pope keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vinny Mack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mack wants to clinch. Pope closes the distance and clinches up with Mack, looking for a takedown. Pope pushes Mack against the cage but Mack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mack keeps Pope at a distance using the push kick. Mack lands a big head kick that sends Pope tumbling to the mat! Mack takes a step backwards and waves Pope back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pope is rocked!
Cyrus Pope's cut is getting worse. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Mack moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Pope! Mack continues to tee off on Pope, landing with a left and a right! Mack connects with a right hand that leaves Pope sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Mack!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vinny Mack!
