Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Navarro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Skindred - Warning. Kobe Navarro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Gray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kobe Navarro! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray swats away the attempt to clinch by Navarro. Gray just misses with a punch to the body.
A head kick misses from Gray. Navarro tries to close the distance and clinch but Gray swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Navarro's coach down at Cozad MMA London was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Navarro's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Gray with a nice cross. Gray pivots, looking for a leg kick but Navarro is out of range and Gray settles back down. Navarro on the wrong end of a nice jab. Gray swats away the attempt to clinch by Navarro. Navarro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gray pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Navarro. Gray throws a combination that misses and Navarro moves into the clinch. Navarro manages to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray won't allow Navarro to sweep him here. Navarro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gray trying to control the position from guard on top but Navarro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gray postures up.
Gray throwing strikes but missing. Gray trying to control but Navarro is working from the bottom. Gray passes Navarro's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gray missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gray stalling. Navarro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gray. Gray passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Navarro! Gray has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Navarro's face.
Gray has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Navarro really wants to buck Gray off and get back to his feet. Gray controlling his opponent. Gray wants to take Navarro's back but he can't do it this time. Gray tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Navarro is wriggling around trying to escape.
Navarro has left one of his arms exposed and Gray doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Navarro screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nick Gray! Nick Gray decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
