Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Johnson!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moss misses with a wild combination.

Moss throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Moss finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Johnson controls Moss momentarily but Moss frees himself.
Moss advances position into side control!

Moss is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Moss working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moss is really struggling to control Johnson but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Moss working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Moss tries to bench press Johnson off him but Johnson keeps the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Moss is working hard here to advance position.
Johnson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Moss regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zakari Moss dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A jab from Johnson misses.
Zakari Moss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson throws a shot from downtown. Moss moves away and avoids it.
Moss is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around?

Moss bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moss sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Johnson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Johnson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Moss defends it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Moss wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.

Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Moss is aware though and is defending well.

Moss drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Moss as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Johnson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Moss! Nice submission victory there!
